2020 & 2021
The Fall Design Difference…
If 2020 and 2021 have taught us anything about work-life-balance, it’s that we don’t have to sacrifice a life of travel and adventure in order to work, and we don’t have to sacrifice our success and work-drive to appreciate time at home. These past two years have thrown us some curve balls and my team and I have had to reshape the way we work with clients, vendors and each other, but with it came a silver lining – it gave us the push we needed to embrace a more modern business approach!
While we still love to meet with clients one-on-one in our showroom and on-site, we’ve also created another new way to interact with clients who are a bit more comfortable in the virtual realm. Step one was the creation of our new website Floorsbyfalldesign.com and the implementation of Roomvo, a way to test flooring options out in a virtual space. Next, with the help of local 3D photographer Capture It 3D, we were able to create a virtual version of our showroom for clients who prefer to stay remote.
All these exciting changes gave us the creative space and bandwidth to expand our business to Europe, with a new office in France and our Bay Area team still hard at work. Traveling between Europe and the Bay Area, we’ve found some amazing suppliers and gained invaluable insight into the newest worldwide design trends.
